Easter boozy lazy sunday Spring is springing. We're having a birthday party. It's Easter Sunday. We reckon it'll be a beautiful day! We've written a menu to match the season and our mood – a grazing menu FULL of FLAVOUR, BURSTING with new ideas and little experiments. And we're going to be open ONE DAY ONLY at the Riverside cafe in LEWES. Secret Restaurant guest, Charlotte suggested it at our last little shindig on Valentine's day at the Fringe, and The Riverside cafe have decided to let us have Easter Sunday. We'll be open from 3 ish until the end! Our pal Simon will be playing some well chosen music, gently DJ-ing us through the afternoon and into the evening...

The idea... This is what we thought would be the perfect day. You come over to Lewes. I've checked and trains from Brighton are running normally so far. Find a walk – maybe get the train to Glynde and walk to Lewes? Walk all afternoon, maybe have a pint somewhere...walk up an appetite! Get in the mood for a long chilled afternoon into the evening, bring your mates, drink fine wines, we'll send out the food (see menu opposite...it's not a choice, you get all of it!). You do the rest...we'll throw in a few Observers too!
